This page is dedicated to my dear friend Phaneendranath Anumolu, Founder & CEO YoungSpark, who passed away on the 8th of February, 2014.
It is a relatively unknown fact that it was Phani who prompted me to start blogging my short stories on Rainy Reflections. Nay, he didn't prompt, he insisted, threatened and absolutely compelled me to blog... you see... he created this blog!
Originally titled myrainstory, he created the blog and sent me my user name and password so that I can customize it and start blogging. At first, I was appalled at him for forcing me to write when I was clearly disinterested, but as I blogged my first story (to keep him quiet more than anything), I grew to love it. That story gave way to many more and blogging became a passion.
All thanks to him.
Fondly nicknamed as 'daddy' by our gang, he was an integral part of all of us. The epitome of success, a young achiever, a best friend, a solid support and a very good human being.
He is unfortunately not here with us anymore and I miss his wit, encouragement and advice, but by creating this page I can ensure that he will always remain a part of this blog, for it only exists because of him.
